Carpentry Apprentice

MI-LO Home is a small residential construction company based in Seaford and services the South Eastern Suburbs. We have a position available for a 1st or 2nd year carpentry apprentice that will be working alongside the builder/carpenter and is expected to learn to build a home from start to finish.

Work range is very broad, as large as multi unit townhouse developments to as small as maintenance call outs. All aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking. Work is across the south eastern suburbs, Monday to Friday with some Saturday work. 

To be successful you will need to have the following: 

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work 
• Be reliable and punctual 
• Very keen to learn 
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools 
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry 
• Ability to get to and from work independently 

Preferred but not essential: 

• Driver licence & Own car 
• A white card 
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship 
• Own tools
