Based in Broken Hill, finding great staff can be challenging. So when catering assistant Blake showed an interested in cookery, Greg decided to give him an opportunity to work in the kitchen.
An apprenticeship pathway was the best option and MEGT were there each step to make the process easy and help connect Greg to a Training Provider who could support Blake’s development.
“I believe in upskilling staff that offer great potential. My vision for Blake is that once he has completed his apprenticeship that he is able to run a site and be Head Chef,” said Greg.
