How it works

When you hire IT trainees through MEGT, you get everything you need to recruit your trainees and ensure they thrive in your workplace.

Step 1

We help you to recruit quality IT trainees who have the right attitude and commitment to succeed in your business.

Step 2 

Your trainees complete their Certificate IV in Information Technology while working in your team. We provide intensive support throughout the entire traineeship journey, and take care of all the paperwork and regulatory requirements.

Step 3

Once your trainees have completed 19 of 20 units in their Cert IV (or has been studying for 12 months), together we’ll select 3 Microsoft microcredentials that meet your business’ requirements and your trainees’ career goals.

Step 4 

When your trainees have completed their qualification, you’ll get first choice to hire them (for no additional cost).

Our Group Training service includes:

  • Sourcing, selecting and testing applicants
  • Providing a shortlist of pre-screened candidates for you to review
  • Interviewing and conducting pre-employment checks
  • Managing onboarding, employee compliance and payroll services
  • Sourcing the Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • Creating a tailored training plan
  • Coaching and guidance for your trainee and their supervisor
  • Ongoing liaison with the RTO
  • Addressing any training gaps with a remediation plan.

MEGT's Recruit & Guide service delivers everything you need to successfully recruit IT trainees, and ensure they thrive in your workplace—while you remain their legal employer.

Our Recruit & Guide service includes all the same components as our Group Training service, except onboarding, employee compliance and payroll services:
