This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience, earn while you learn, and complete a nationally recognised qualification in a supportive and culturally inclusive environment.
About the Traineeship
This paid 12-month traineeship will give you hands-on experience in a library and administration environment while developing valuable workplace and customer service skills.
In this role, you will learn to:
- Provide day-to-day library and administration support
- Assist visitors and community members with friendly customer service
- Answer phone and email enquiries
- Support library programs, events, and daily operations
- Perform data entry, filing, scanning, photocopying, and document preparation
- Help maintain organised library spaces and resources
- Work collaboratively with staff and community members in a welcoming environment
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
- Friendly and respectful with a positive attitude
- Interested in working with people and supporting the community
- Able to work well in a team and independently
- Organised and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable using computers or willing to learn
No previous experience is required - full training and support will be provided.
