Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the Engineering Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for an Apprentice in two locations Morwell and Traralgon VIC!
About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assist with cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs, and testing of hydraulic components
- Support qualified tradespeople with fault finding, disassembly, and reassembly of hydraulic systems
- Conduct basic diagnostics and analysis, including the use of data logging equipment
- Perform workshop duties including welding, grinding, machining, tube bending, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Participate in on-site work across a range of industry locations, while maintaining accurate service records and documentation
- Work in-between two locations in Morwell and Traralgon
What we're looking for - Skills & Experience
- Mechanical aptitude with an interest in machinery (experience with cars, bikes, or farm equipment highly regarded)
- Confident using hand tools with strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn, follow instructions, and develop trade skills
- Farming background preferred, with a genuine eagerness to grow and build a long-term career in the trade

- Complete a 4-year apprenticeship and gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical through TAFE Gippsland.

- Training with National Hydraulic certificates in hose & Fitting and Hydraulics included in your training .
