Start Your Career as a First Nations Service Advisor Trainee - ANZ Retail Branch (Salisbury)

MEGT, in partnership with ANZ's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traineeship Pathway Program, is offering a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional banking environment while working towards a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Business).

📍 Based in Salisbury, South Australia

This is an identified role for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. What You'll Be Doing

As a First Nations Business Trainee in ANZ's retail branch, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service across face-to-face, phone, and digital channels
    * Assist with transactions, resolve enquiries, and provide banking support within guidelines
    * Help customers with everyday banking, accounts, cards, and self-service tools
    * Understand customer needs and connect them with the right specialists
    * Accurately record interactions in ANZ systems and CRM platforms
    * Take part in team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training

What We're Looking For

  • A strong customer service focus with solid computer skills
    * Good communication skills and a professional approach
    * Confidence working in a fast-paced retail banking environment
    * Ability to multitask and stay organised
    * Reliable, motivated, and a proactive team player
    * Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (essential)
    * Ability to pass a National Police Check (essential)
    * Typing speed of 40-60 WPM (desirable)
