Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the Electrical Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for an Apprentice in Marleston SA.
About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Carry out breakdown repairs and fault finding on machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions
- Assist with project work including machine upgrades, modifications, and installation of new equipment
What we're looking for - Skills & Experience
- Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
- Excellent mathematical skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work at heights
- A strong focus on safety
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology (preferred, but not essential)
- A valid Driver's Licence and vehicle
- Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Medical Check
