Start Your Career as a First Nations Service Advisor Trainee - NAB Customer Call Centre

MEGT, in partnership with NAB's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traineeship Pathway Program, is offering a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional business environment while working towards a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Business).

📍 Based in Docklands, Melbourne

This is an identified role for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. What You'll Be Doing

As a First Nations Business Trainee in NAB's customer call centre, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service across phone and digital channels
  • Assist with transactions, resolve enquiries, and provide banking support within guidelines
  • Help customers with everyday banking, cards, and self-service tools
  • Understand customer needs and connect them with the right specialists
  • Accurately record interactions in NAB systems and CRM platforms
  • Take part in team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training

What We're Looking For

  • A strong customer service focus with solid computer skills
  • Good communication skills and a professional phone manner
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, call centre environment
  • Ability to multitask and stay organised
  • Reliable, motivated, and a proactive team player
  • Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (essential)
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check (essential)
  • Typing speed of 40-60 WPM (desirable)
