Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Metal Fabricator (Boilermaker) to join our team in Botany.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the metal fabrication industry while learning from experienced tradespeople in a supportive workshop environment.
About the Role
As an Apprentice Fabricator, you will learn all aspects of the trade, including:
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
- Fabricating structural steel and custom metal products
- MIG, TIG and Stick welding techniques
- Operating fabrication machinery and hand tools
- Cutting, grinding and finishing metal components
- Safe work practices and quality control procedures
- Installation and site work opportunities as required
What We're Looking For
- Genuine interest in metal fabrication, welding, and manufacturing
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver's licence preferred but not essential
- School leavers and mature-age applicants are encouraged to apply
