Full Time Electrical Apprentice
Duro Electrics have a position available for an Electrical Apprentice to join the team.
We specialise in all aspects of electrical including residential, communications, commercial and maintenance work.
We have already signed off 2 Apprentices through MEGT
About the Role
You will work alongside experienced electricians and gain hands-on experience across a variety of electrical installations and maintenance work.
Your duties may include:
- Rough in and fit off of electrical installations
- Installing lighting, power and data
- Running and terminating cabling
- Assisting with switchboard work
- Installing appliances, fans and specialty fittings
- Testing and commissioning
- Maintaining clean and organised worksites
- Communicating professionally with clients and other trade
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is currently completing a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Electrical Apprenticeship
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Is reliable and punctual
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Is willing to learn and take direction
- Works well independently and within a team
- Has good communication skills
- Holds a White Card
- Drivers licence preferred (or working towards obtaining one)
