Apprentice Carpenter – Learn Directly From the Business Owner

We’re a small, growing carpentry business looking for a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely alongside the business owner every day, gaining first-hand knowledge and practical skills that go beyond what you’ll learn in trade school. You’ll be involved in all aspects of residential construction and carpentry, with plenty of hands-on experience and direct mentoring.

About the Role

As an apprentice, you’ll assist with and learn:

• House framing
• Lock-up and fixing carpentry
• Renovations and extensions
• Decks and pergolas
• Reading plans and setting out
• Safe use of power tools and equipment
• General site management and construction practices

• Genuine interest in carpentry and construction
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• White Card 
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred
