Apprentice Motor Mechanic

DHT Transport Repairs are currently looking for an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join the team. 

Working with qualified and skilled truck mechanics you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.  

The workshop carries out maintenance on company fleet and retail customer equipment.

If you have a passion with trucks and want to make it into a career, this is the job for you! 

Duties will involve:  

• Diagnose and repair of vehicles. 
• Servicing vehicles. 
• Safety checks. 
• Computer diagnostics . 
• Maintenance of the workshop.

The successful candidate will:  

• Be a confident communicator. 
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the automotive industry. 
• Be trustworthy and reliable. 
• Be safety conscious. 

Preferred but not essential: 

• Have manual driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
