About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Bricklaying Apprentice to join our growing construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the building and construction industry while gaining hands-on experience alongside qualified tradespeople.

As an apprentice bricklayer, you will learn all aspects of brick and block laying across residential, commercial, and renovation projects. You will work on active construction sites, develop practical trade skills, and complete formal training as part of your apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified bricklayers with daily construction tasks
• Prepare and mix mortar and construction materials
• Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials under supervision
• Measure and cut materials accurately
• Set up and maintain safe work areas
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
• Clean and maintain tools and job sites
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Learn how to read plans and construction drawings
• Work effectively as part of a construction team

What We’re Looking For

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred but not essential
• Previous labouring or construction experience is an advantage but not required
