Apprentice Motor Mechanic

Marshalls Diesel Service is seeking an apprentice diesel mechanic for a full time position.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Good level of mechanical aptitude.
• Basic mechanical skills and knowledge an advantage.
• Current drivers licence.
• Preferably have completed grade 12.

Duties will involve:  

• Diagnose and repair of vehicles. 
• Servicing vehicles. 
• Safety checks. 
• Computer diagnostics. 
• Maintenance of the workshop and garage. 

The successful candidate will:  

• Be honest, reliable & trustworthy.
• Be a confident communicator. 
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the automotive industry. 
• Be safety conscious. 

Preferred but not essential: 

• Have manual driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
