Autoworks is looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Mechanic to join our team.
This role would suit someone who is genuinely interested in cars, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
About the Role
You will be working alongside qualified mechanics and learning all aspects of vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics, inspections, and workshop procedures.
The role includes:
- Assisting with vehicle servicing and repairs
- Learning diagnostic and fault-finding procedures
- Helping with workshop organisation and vehicle movement
- Completing job notes and updates as part of the repair process
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Learning correct tool use and professional workshop standards
What We’re Looking For

- Interested in cars and mechanical work
- Able to follow instructions

- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Willing to complete training requirements
- Able to take feedback and improve
Previous mechanical experience is helpful but not required. The right attitude is more important.
Requirements
- Manual driver’s licence preferred, or working towards one
- Strong interest in the automotive industry
- Willingness to work, learn, and complete formal apprenticeship training
