Apprentice Cook

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Cook to join our Japanese kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn authentic Japanese cuisine techniques in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of ingredients (cutting, portioning, basic prep)
• Support senior chefs during service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Learn and assist in Japanese cooking techniques (e.g. knife skills, stock preparation, plating)
• Handle kitchen equipment safely
• Assist with stock rotation and storage
