Apprentice Cook
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Cook to join our Japanese kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn authentic Japanese cuisine techniques in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of ingredients (cutting, portioning, basic prep)
- Support senior chefs during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Learn and assist in Japanese cooking techniques (e.g. knife skills, stock preparation, plating)
- Handle kitchen equipment safely
- Assist with stock rotation and storage
