Engineering Apprentice (Fitter)
We’re a piling company based in Narangba, and we’re on the lookout for someone keen to kick off a career as a Fitter.
If you’re into mechanics, like working with your hands, and want to learn while working on some seriously big equipment — this could be a great fit.
You’ll be working towards your Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Trade) while learning on the job in our workshop.
What you’ll get to do:
- Work alongside experienced fitters and learn the ropes
- Help service and repair all sorts of gear — from utes and forklifts to piling rigs and cranes
- Get hands-on with tools and workshop equipment
- Learn how to find and fix faults (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
- Help keep everything running safely and smoothly
- Be part of the day-to-day action in a busy workshop
What we’re looking for someone:
- Who’s keen to learn and get stuck in
- Has an interest in mechanics or how things work
- Has a good attitude and is reliable
- Happy to work in a team and take direction
- Cares about safety (yours and your mates’)
- Has a driver’s licence and your own transport
