Carpentry Apprentice

KOYA Construction Group is an expanding building services company rooted in Melbourne's inner Northern Suburbs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated apprentice to join our close-knit team and build a long-term career in the trade.

Our expertise spans the full scope of carpentry — from structural framing, lock-up and fix, through to external cladding and decking — alongside a broad range of general building services. Joining KOYA means gaining hands-on experience across every stage of the construction process.

We're after someone who brings the right attitude as much as the right skills — a motivated, respectful individual with a genuine passion for the craft and a hunger to develop their abilities on the tools.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Integrity, respect, and honesty in all aspects of your work
• The physical capacity and resilience to meet the demands of an active worksite
• Reliability and punctuality — your team depends on you
• A strong willingness to learn and take direction
• A basic familiarity with hand tools
• Genuine enthusiasm for carpentry and the broader construction industry
• The ability to travel to and from work independently and consistently

Preferred, but not essential:

• A current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
• A valid White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Completion of a pre-apprenticeship program
• Your own set of tools
