There is a position available in our small workshop in Melbourne's inner city for an apprentice mechanic. The job involves general mechanical work, servicing, repairs, diagnosis & maintenance of motor vehicles, with a strong focus on the electrical & electronic areas of the industry. The suitable candidate will have a great work ethic, a willingness to learn, the ability to follow basic instructions & be honest, reliable & punctual. The ability to function within our team and share the company goals is essential.

This role comes with a plenty of variety and the chance to get highly sought after experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Complete general servicing and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct diagnosis and fault-finding processes.
  • Identify mechanical issues, and understands the repair method to conduct and resolve the issue
  • Diagnosing and repairing engines, brakes, and electrical systems

Assisting in workshop operations and customer engagement

Previous experience would be an advantage although not a necessity if all of the other attributes are met, willingness to learn, honesty, reliability & work ethic would be highly valued.
