Apprentice Painter – Full Time Opportunity

Defiance Painting is looking for motivated Apprentice Painters to join our growing team on the Sunshine Coast. We deliver high-quality finishes across both commercial and residential projects, with a strong focus on consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.

This role is ideal for someone looking to start or continue their painting apprenticeship and develop real on-site skills across a variety of projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting qualified painters on commercial and residential sites
• Surface preparation (sanding, filling, masking, cleaning)
• Applying coatings under supervision (primers, undercoats, topcoats)
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Learning product systems and best application practices

What we’re looking for:

• Genuine interest in painting and construction
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• White Card (or willing to obtain)
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred
