Painting Apprentice

Savilles Painting Co are currently looking for an apprentice painter to join the team, all year levels welcome to apply, including new starters and experienced apprentices.

If you have an eye for detail and design, and like a job that offers visual satisfaction, this is the role for you.

Working with a qualified and skilled painter you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.  

Duties will involve:  

• Carry out measurements and calculations. 
• Read and interpret plans and specifications. 
• Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems. 
• Handle painting and decorating materials. 
• Use painting and decorating tools and equipment. 
• Remove and replace doors and door and window components. 
• Prepare surfaces for painting. 
• Apply paint by brush and roller. 
• Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray. 

The successful candidate will:  

• Reliable and hard working. 
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the industry. 
• Be trustworthy and reliable. 
• Have a current Driver's licence and vehicle/own transport
