Apprentice Locksmith
Our expanding company with over 40 years experience located in Collingwood is looking for an enthusiastic 1st year apprentice to join our team. We are looking for someone who is interested in learning all areas of locksmithing including commercial, domestic and automotive.
Candidates should be:
- Well presented with a positive attitude
- Able to communicate well with customers and work mates
- Interested in working with their hands
- Be punctual and honest
- Enjoy working in a team environment and be self-motivated with a good work ethic
- Experience in customer service would be well regarded
Duties include:
- Interacting with customers in our shop front
- Taking phone calls and email enquiries from customers and booking jobs
- Cutting keys, repairing and assembling locks
- General bench work in our workshop
- Ordering and unpacking stock
Position overview
This is a full time position - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm located in Collingwood. You will be required to successfully complete the Certificate 3 in Locksmithing at Melbourne Polytechnic during your apprenticeship.
This position would be ideal for a school leaver.
