Carpentry Apprentice

ARG Carpentry has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team. We are open to either a recent school leaver or adult apprentice, with 0-2 years experience. 

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry framing in both steel and timber, as well as occasional lock up, fix, external cladding and decking. 

Excellent opportunity to join a busy crew and learn from qualified tradies in a supportive and energetic environment. Majority of work is based at Park Ridge 4125, with the odd job around Brisbane/logan/ipswich. 

This is a fulltime role, working Monday-Friday (with regular overtime - no weekends) Pay rate is as per the Award - based on age and experience, and includes benefits for leave loading, overtime rates & daily travel allowance.  

To be successful you will need to have the following: 

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work & work at a fast pace
• Be reliable, punctual & confident 
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools 
• Enthusiasm to learn and Commitment to a long term position 
• Ability to get to and from work independently 
• Driver licence & Own car 
• A white card

Preferred but not essential:  

• Completed a pre-apprenticeship 
• Own tools
