Goldenhome Lifts Company currently has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Apprentice (Fitter) to join our team.

We specialise in the installation, servicing and maintenance of elevators across residential and commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone who wants to enter the lift industry and develop a long-term career in the mechanical installation side of the trade.

Working closely with our experienced lift installers and qualified tradesmen, you will receive hands-on training and practical mentoring while learning all aspects of elevator installation and fitting. You will be supported by highly experienced professionals who are committed to passing on their skills and knowledge.

This position would suit someone who enjoys practical work, likes working with their hands and wants to build a future in a specialised and growing industry.

To be successful, you should have the following:

Essential:

  • A genuine interest in mechanical work or engineering
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop trade skills
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Desirable:

  • Experience with hand tools or mechanical assembly
  • Driver licence
  • White Card
  • Pre-apprenticeship or relevant technical study
