Dental Assistant Trainee

At Love Dental we have a position available for a trainee dental assistant to join our Dental Practice.We are located  in Brighton and are offering a permanent part-time position of 3-4 days per week.

We are looking for a candidate who is intending to commence or has already commenced or completing a Certificate III in Dental assisting

This is an excellent career opportunity with a Dental Practice that provides a supportive and collabrative work environment. Our sole practice provides for shared responsibilities and duties focusing on improving the quality, function, and appearance of our patients teeth. 

About the opportunity:  
Tasks will include, but are not limited to: 

• Chair side assisting 
• Sterilization 
• Infection control 
• Preparing patients & facilities for dental treatment 
• Meeting and greeting clients into the office 
•  Reception duties, including scheduling appointments 
• Taking HICAPS and EFTPOS payments 
• Maintaining stock
• Manage office supplies stock and place orders 

The successful candidate will be:

• High attention to detail 
• Strong organisational skills 
• Previous experience in this field will be highly regarded, however not essential.
