1st or 2nd Year Carpentry Apprentice
MB Construct VIC is a small building company. We have a position available for a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice to join the team.
We specialise in all aspects of high end and architectural carpentry from timber stick framing, lock up, fix and decking. Generally new homes and renovations from start to finish. Work is across Geelong, Bellarine and Surfcoast area, Monday to Friday.
we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong attention to detail and drive to complete all carpentry work to a high standard with a genuine interest in carpentry. you will be required to work well in a team of 3 with two qualified carpenters in a full time capacity. Some experience preferred but not essential
To be successful you will need to have the following:
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work
- Be reliable and punctual
- Very keen to learn
- Have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to get to and from work independently
- Drivers licence
- Own car
- A white card
- Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
- Physically fit and capable
- minimum of tool belt and basic hand tools
Preferred but not essential:
- Completed a pre-apprenticeship
- Own tools
