The Role

This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you will learn all aspects of locksmithing and security manufacturing while working alongside experienced tradespeople.

You will learn to:

  • Assist with manufacturing, installing, maintaining and servicing locks and security products
  • Support workshop manufacturing and project work
  • Use hand and power tools safely (full training provided)
  • Assist qualified Locksmiths and other Trade Technicians on site
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety
  • Build practical trade skills every week

  • Are a 1st–4th year Apprentice Locksmith seeking a transfer
  • Are reliable and show up on time
  • Enjoy hands-on practical work
  • Have a strong work ethic
  • Can follow instructions and work in a team

Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are essential.

Requirements

  • Australian working rights
  • Driver’s licence (or working towards)
  • White Card (or willing to obtain)
  • Ability to obtain Police Clearance
  • Physically fit for hands-on work
  • Willing to complete Certificate III in Locksmithing (MEM30819)
