Landscaping Apprentice

Binet Homes currently have an exciting opportunity for a landscaping apprentice to join our team!  

Our current job is in Pitt Town, but we have work located everywhere in the Sydney Metro Area, from Chatswood, to Epping, Eastwood etc. You will need to be flexible and able to get from A to B independently.

You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade. 

We do all facets of landscaping, structural, soft and hard landscaping included.

Responsibilities for this position include:  

• Assist with all facets of landscaping such as excavation, formwork, concreting, retaining walls, paving, brick edging, planting, irrigation, etc.
• Grass cutting (using walk-behind, ride-on and our-front mowers, edges and brush cutters).
• General tidying up and rubbish removal.
• Weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).
• Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.
• Complete study and on job components to meet qualification requirements for Cert III Landscaping, which includes travel for training purposes.  

To be successful you will need to have the following: 
Must have: 

• Ability to undertake manual/physical work.
• Genuine interest in landscaping.
• Punctual, reliable and energetic.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Able to get to and from work independently
• Drivers License, preferably own car
• A white card is a benefit
