Morphcon is expanding and we're looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th year carpentry apprentice who’s ready to take the next step in their trade career.

About Us: Morphcon specialise in quality residential builds and offer a mix of carpentry projects across Melbourne.

About You: If you're confident on the tools, keen to refine your skills, and want exposure to quality residential builds, this is an opportunity to work with a team that prioritises workmanship, respect, and real career development.

As a later-year apprentice, you'll be trusted with responsibility while still having guidance from experienced carpenters when you need it.

We invest in helping you finish strong and transition into a highly capable qualified carpenter. You’ll gain experience across all major areas of residential construction, including more complex and detailed work.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Framing (including more complex and detailed builds)
  • Lock-up & fix
  • Timber cladding, feature detailing & architectural elements
  • Decks, pergolas & outdoor structures
  • Internal finishing & quality detail work
  • Task planning and working more independently

What We Need From You:

  • Ability to undertake physically demanding work
  • Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in completing work properly
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Takes initiative, listens well, and shows respect on site
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to get to and from sites across Melbourne
  • Comfortable working independently and leading tasks

Preferred but not essential:

  • Drivers license & Own car
  • A white card
  • Completed a pre-apprenticeship
  • Own basic tools
  • Strong Communication skills
