Electrical Apprentice
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to their trade, eager to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work.
The successful applicant must be willing to attend work consistently and travel to various job sites when required. The majority of our work is located on the east side of Melbourne, including areas such as Brighton and Aspendale. You will receive valuable hands-on experience, ongoing mentoring, and direct support to help you develop your skills within the electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members
- Travel to different work sites as required
Essential Requirements
- Currently completed 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of electrical apprenticeship schooling
- Basic knowledge and safe use of hand tools
- Genuine interest in the electrical industry
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job correctly
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Confident verbal communication skills
- Must have full Australian working rights (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa)
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Pre-Apprenticeship)
- Previous on-site or industry experience
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to drive and access to a vehicle
- Driver’s Licence

- Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check if required
- Police Check (if requested)
- Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
