Financial incentives for employers
Your business may be eligible for Federal Government payments and benefits.
These include:
- Priority Hiring Incentive
- Disability Australian Apprentice Wage Support (DAAWS)
- The Group Training Organisation (GTO) Reimbursement Program
Based on the information available on the Training Contract, MEGT will complete an assessment for employer incentives under current policy and notify you in writing via an Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System Eligibility Advice.
Further information about current incentives is available in our guide to financial incentives for employers web page. You can also visit apprenticeships.gov.au and use the Employer Incentives Explorer tool.
Claiming financial incentives
You will need to create a Digital ID using myID to claim eligible employer payments in the Apprenticeships Data Management System (ADMS). ADMS is a secure platform which supports the delivery of the Australian Apprenticeship program and is the only way employers can claim eligible Priority Hiring Incentive or other payments.
Need help?
Visit our ADMS for employers page to find out how to set up your ADMS account and make a claim.
Support for you and your apprentice or trainee
MEGT is dedicated to working with you and your apprentice or trainee throughout the duration of the apprenticeship or traineeship.
Our team can provide you with tools and resources to navigate common challenges and offer expert assistance and advice to help resolve short-term setbacks. Where required, we can also provide your apprentice with free one-on-one mentoring or make referrals to specialist support services.
