Administrator Business Trainee

Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the Business and Financial Services Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for a Business Trainee in Darley VIC!
About the Role
This traineeship is a great opportunity to start your career while gaining practical, hands-on experience across our Revenue, Procurement and Financial Services teams. You'll receive training and support while learning how key financial and administrative functions operate within a busy organisation.
In this role, you will learn to:
- Assist with a range of administrative tasks across Revenue and Procurement services
- Help process property and customer record updates, statutory certificates, and other general enquiries
- Support the team with data entry and financial transaction processing
- Assist with preparing and recording procurement and contract-related documentation
- Provide support to Financial Services with tasks such as accounts payable, banking transactions and purchase card processing
- Help coordinate basic Fleet Management activities, including scheduling vehicle servicing and reconciling fuel transactions
- Provide general administrative support across the team as required
This role is designed to give you exposure to a variety of tasks while building valuable workplace and administrative skills.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is motivated to learn and start their career in administration or financial services.
You will ideally have:
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
- A willingness to learn new systems, processes and skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
No extensive experience is required - we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in developing their skills.
