MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice based in Melbourne to take on residential and commercial sustainability projects and installations.
About the role:
Kickstart your career as an Electrical Apprentice within the residential and commercial industries performing installations, diagnostics and re-fits.
- Hands-on learning: Get involved from day one in a real work site - from mains installations, EV chargers, heating and cooling fit-outs, circuit diagnostics, electrical wiring and schematic drawings..
- Be part of something new: Contribute to the Electrical service teams within a the Melbourne metro area while also learning from experienced trades professionals.
- Support and training: Work alongside a dedicated electrical team who'll help you develop your technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Career growth: This apprenticeship is the first step towards a long-term career, with genuine opportunities to grow into a qualified tradesperson and future full-time employment.

What we are looking for:
- Genuine interest in developing a trade career as an Electrician within a the residential and commercial industries.
- Strong commitment to safety and willingness to follow workplace procedures and supervision.
- Demonstrated aptitude or completion of a pre-apprenticeship (highly desirable).
- Practical mindset with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in hands-on work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team while showing initiative and eagerness to learn.
- Valid White Card
