Join MEGT as a First Nations Everyday Banking Service Advisor Trainee with NAB

Join NAB's Personal Banking team in their Melbourne CBD office as a First Nations Service Advisor, supporting customers over the phone while completing a 12-month Business Traineeship with MEGT.



What You'll Do?

As a First Nations Business Trainee, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Carry out routine procedural, clerical, administrative, or operational tasks in a customer service-focused environment
  • Provide technical advice and support to a team
  • Build Rapport and credibility with customers, Clearly articulate digital options available for customers, resolving initial enquiries and directing matters to internal stakeholders if required
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to meet the credit and debit card servicing needs of new and existing personal customers​
  • Educate customers on NAB's comprehensive and diverse range of offerings including self-serve options



What We're Looking For?

  • Must be customer service focused with high computer literacy and strong customer service skills; typing speed 40-60 wpm desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills
  • A team player who takes initiative, is enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
  • Previous customer service, admin/reception, or data entry experience (highly regarded)
  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (essential) and ability to pass a National Police Check
