First Nations Certificate III in Information Technology Traineeship

Kickstart your career in Information Technology with MEGT and Unisys. This exciting traineeship offers First Nations candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on IT experience while completing a Certificate III in Information Technology.
You will work on real projects supporting Unisys government clients, building practical technical skills in a supportive, inclusive, and culturally respectful environment.

About You
You will be someone who:
Has a genuine interest in technology and enjoys working with computers
Provides friendly and professional customer service
Communicates clearly, both written and verbally
Is an Australian Citizen
Can obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance
Holds a current Driver Licence (automatic acceptable)
Your Duties
In this role, you will:
Support staff with day-to-day IT issues at their desk or on site
Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Set up, move, and change IT equipment such as computers and monitors
Assist users with their IT needs in a friendly and helpful way
Scan and update IT asset and equipment records
Ensure deskside IT systems are operating correctly
