First Nations Certificate III in Information Technology Traineeship

Kickstart your career in Information Technology with MEGT and Unisys. This exciting traineeship offers First Nations candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on IT experience while completing a Certificate III in Information Technology.

You will work on real projects supporting Unisys government clients, building practical technical skills in a supportive, inclusive, and culturally respectful environment.

About You

You will be someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in technology and enjoys working with computers

  • Provides friendly and professional customer service

  • Communicates clearly, both written and verbally

  • Is an Australian Citizen

  • Can obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance

  • Holds a current Driver Licence (automatic acceptable)

Your Duties

In this role, you will:

  • Support staff with day-to-day IT issues at their desk or on site

  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues

  • Set up, move, and change IT equipment such as computers and monitors

  • Assist users with their IT needs in a friendly and helpful way

  • Scan and update IT asset and equipment records

  • Ensure deskside IT systems are operating correctly
