MEGT are seeking a 2nd Year Boilermaker Apprentice!
Take your boilermaking career to the next level in Musswellbrook! Join Schlam's workshop team, manufacturing, maintaining and repairing mobile and fixed mining plant for major clients within the mining industry.
Work alongside experienced tradespeople and apprentices in a supportive, team-focused environment with great opportunities for learning, development, and progression.
The Opportunity
Your duties will include :
- Adhere to all Schlam policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Assist with heavy fabrication, maintenance and repairs of mining equipment under supervision
- Undertake heavy plant inspections and diagnostics
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team, apprentices, and supervisors
- Learn and develop new skills

- Driver's license, own transport
- White Card for site access.
- Keen, committed, and willing to take instruction
- Team-focused and confident working alongside other apprentices and the wider workshop team
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for engineering and fabrication
- Proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or use initiative to solve problems
