About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in
- Practical Construction Techniques - Experience in various construction tasks such as timber framing, concrete work, formwork, flooring, and renovations.
- Project Adaptability - Learning to work on diverse projects including residential houses, townhouses, industrial buildings, commercial projects, and heritage restorations.
- Team Collaboration - Working closely with supervisors, tradespeople, and colleagues, enhancing communication and teamwork skills on construction projects.
- Workplace Safety Awareness - Gaining practical knowledge of site safety, proper use of PPE, and compliance with White Card and workplace safety standards.
What we're looking for - Skills & Experience
- A valid Driver's Licence and vehicle, and white card
- Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
- Enthusiastic and motivated to learn all aspects of construction.
- Practical and handy with tools, able to perform hands-on tasks.
- Able to work on a variety of project types.
- Certificate II in Building and Construction (preferred, but not essential)
