Join MEGT as a School Based Business Administrator Trainee - First Nations Position

Are you a motivated and reliable Year 11 or Year 12 student in 2026 looking for a career in retail branch operations? MEGT, in partnership with NAB Mt Isa, has a fantastic opportunity for a First Nations candidate to gain hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III in Business.

About the Qualification - Certificate III in Business

This traineeship provides students with foundation skills in business operations and professional workplace practices. Throughout the program, students will develop skills in:

  • Customer service and client support
  • Administrative tasks and data entry
  • Handling enquiries and supporting internal teams
  • Working with business technology and banking systems
  • Understanding compliance, privacy, and workplace policies
  • Students will gain real-world experience within a NAB branch or business unit while completing nationally recognised training, building confidence and workplace readiness for future career pathways in banking, finance, customer service, administration, or further business studies.

About the NAB Traineeship:

During the traineeship, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Support daily branch operations
  • Assist with customer enquiries and direct customers to appropriate services
  • Learn about transactional processes, digital banking tools, and compliance requirements
  • Work alongside experienced NAB team members in a professional corporate environment
  • Develop communication, organisational, and customer-focused skills
