MEGT are seeking a 1st Year Boilermaker Apprentice!
Kick-start your boilermaking career in Waroona! Join Schlam's workshop team, manufacturing and repairing mining equipment for major clients.
Work alongside experienced tradespeople and apprentices in a supportive, team-focused environment with great opportunities for learning, development, and progression.

The Opportunity

Your duties will include :

  • Adhere to all Schlam policies, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Assist with heavy fabrication and assembly of mining equipment under supervision
  • Operate tools, machinery, and workshop equipment safely
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team, apprentices, and supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work area

The Key for Success

  • Driver's license, own transport
  • White Card for site access.
  • Keen, committed, and willing to take instruction
  • Team-focused and confident working alongside other apprentices and the wider workshop team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion for engineering and fabrication
  • Proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or use initiative to solve problems
