🌴 Position: Reservation Consultant
📍 Location: Townsville
🕒 Hours: 18 hours per week (3-day week or 36-hour fortnight, Monday-Friday between 8:30am-4:30pm). Full-time hours may also be considered.
MEGT, in partnership with Defence Holidays NQ, has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Reservation Consultant to join their vibrant team. ✈️ Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage end-to-end travel bookings tailored to client needs
- Deliver friendly and professional service via phone and email
- Coordinate tours, working closely with suppliers, drivers and guides
- Promote and sell travel extras including insurance, tours and activities
- Stay on top of emails, invoices, CRM updates and general administration
- Support social media updates and newsletters to inspire clients
🌍 About You
- Knowledge of domestic/international fares construction and manual self-ticketing (highly regarded)
- Confident communicator with a flair for customer service and attention to detail
- Experience using Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS)
- Certificate III in Travel & Tourism or similar qualification
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Bonus points for Xero experience and local knowledge of North Queensland
