We are offering a premium apprenticeship opportunity for a motivated first-year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice.
This role is predominantly focused on air conditioning installation, with structured exposure to service work as your skills develop.
We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term trade career — not just complete an apprenticeship.
The Role
You will work directly alongside technicians assisting with:
- Installation of split systems and ducted air conditioning systems
- Commercial HVAC installation support
- Pipework, ductwork and system setup
- Commissioning assistance
- Service call support as skills progress
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe job sites
- Preparing tools, materials, and equipment
Work is primarily Melbourne metro.
On-site start time is 6:45am sharp each day.

- Is punctual and reliable — without being chased
- Listens carefully and follows instruction
- Is respectful, well-presented and easy to work with
- Is mechanically minded and enjoys hands-on work
- Is physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Wants long-term employment and career progression
We are not looking for someone who needs constant supervision.
We are looking for someone who wants to learn and improve every day.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle to get to site
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Full Australian working rights
- Must be commencing as a first-year apprentice (school leavers and mature-age applicants welcome
