Apprentice Automotive Mechanic

Torque Shift are currently looking for an Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic to join the team. 

Working with qualified and skilled motor mechanics and transmission specialists you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support. You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and training in all areas regarding Automatic transmission serving and repairs.

If you have a passion with cars and want to make it into a career, this is the job for you! 

Duties will involve:  

• Diagnose and repair of vehicles.
• Servicing vehicles.
• Safety checks.
• Computer diagnostics.
• Maintenance of the workshop and garage. 

The successful candidate will:  

• Be a confident communicator.
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the automotive industry.
• Be trustworthy and reliable.
• Be safety conscious. 

Preferred but not essential: 

• Have manual driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
