Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Bricklayer to join our small team. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop hands-on skills in bricklaying and masonry under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities
Assist qualified bricklayers with laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials
- Prepare and mix mortar
- Load and unload building materials
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding (as trained)
- Measure and cut materials accurately
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations
- Attend tafe when required
Skills & Requirements
- Genuine interest in bricklaying and construction
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic maths and measuring skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
- White Card
- No experience necessary
- Driver’s license (preferred but not essential)
