  • Roof framing and wall framing
  • Interior joinery (doors, skirting, trim work)
  • Decking and cladding

Job Locations:
Mostly within a 30km radius of Cockburn, with occasional jobs as far as Mandurah.

About the Role:

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of residential projects, working directly with Zac, the owner of ATG. With 15 years of carpentry experience, Zac will teach you essential skills and guide you in building a strong career, all while completing your Certificate III in Carpentry!

To be successful, you will need*:

  • A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • A valid driver’s licence and a reliable car

*This position would suit a recent school leaver

It’s even better if you have:

  • A White Card (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Basic starter tools (or willingness to build up over time)
  • A current police clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Certificate II in Building & Construction (Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship)

A few things to know:

  • Basic tool knowledge is required, like safely using a circular saw, drill, and hammer. Don’t worry if you’re just starting out, we’ll help you build your skills.

  • You’ll start with a 1-day paid trial at a casual day hire rate. It’s a fantastic way to get a real feel for the work, show off your skills, and see if ATG is the right fit for you.
