About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated individual interested in starting a Painting & Decorating Apprenticeship with one of our reputable clients based on the Gold Coast. This is an excellent entry point into the construction industry, offering hands‑on experience across residential and commercial projects in one of Queensland’s fastest‑growing regions.

You will be employed by our client, and we will deliver all formal training and provide support throughout your apprenticeship.
About the Role
As a Painting & Decorating Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople while developing practical skills and completing nationally recognised training with us. Projects may include new builds, renovations, repaints, and decorative finishes across the Gold Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing interior and exterior surfaces (cleaning, sanding, patching, repairing)
- Applying paints, stains, varnish, and textured or decorative finishes
- Using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other tools safely
- Mixing paints and matching colours to specifications
- Setting up work areas, including ladders and basic scaffolding
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Following workplace health and safety practices
- Working effectively as part of a team on active worksites
What We're Looking For
- Genuine interest in the painting and decorating trade
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform manual labour and work at heights
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing the apprenticeship
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
- White Card
