1st - 4th Year Carpentry Apprentice

Ramshead Construction Pty Ltd has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team. 

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry, with jobs ranging from residential renovation, heritage restoration/ renovation and commercial/ semi-commercial frame, lock up and fixes. 

Our work is spread across Melbourne and its suburbs with most jobs being based around inner Melbourne and the western suburbs.  

This would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to be a well rounded tradesperson with a range of knowledge in carpentry and construction in general. You would be a part of increasingly busy and growing crew, while learning from qualified tradies in a small team with a supportive environment. 

To be successful you will need to have the following: 

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work 
• Be reliable and punctual 
• Very keen to learn 
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools 
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry 
• Ability to get to and from work independently

Preferred but not essential: 

• Driver licence & Own car 
• A white card 
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship 
• Own tools
