We are looking for a Sign Writers Apprentice to work alongside skilled fully qualified & experience a Production Manager and a production assistant. You will gain an invaluable range of experience across our diverse commercial and industrial projects.
We have a strong team work ethic and support our employees to achieve their goals.
Signs and Graphics apprentices will learn to:
- use of advanced printing software and technology
- layout and design Signs and Graphics
- prepare surfaces for Signs and Graphics
- produce vinyl Signs and Graphics
- to operate vinyl cutters, laminator, digital printers, hand and power tools
- illuminate and fabricate Signs and Graphics
- may erect and work on scaffolding, scissors lift
- may install signs on-site
- plan and organize work
- carry out measurements
- apply Work Health and Safety requirement
The successful applicant will have:
- Enroll in first year certificate III (Sign & graphics)
- Strong Communication skills.
- desire to learn a broad range of skills
- Motivation to work to a high standard
- Strong team work ethic
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Professional presentation
