Apprentice Sheetmetal Fabricator

We are currently looking for a sheetmetal apprentice to join the team.

Working with qualified and skilled engineers you will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support.

Duties will involve: 

• Sheetmetal fabrication
• CNC Machine operation
• Performing engineering measurements and interpret technical drawing
• Use workshop machines for basic operations
• Sheetmetal cutting and welding
• Perform tool and cutter grinding operations
• Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment

The successful candidate will:

• Be a confident communicator
• Be able to undertake manual/physical work
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the engineering industry
• Be trustworthy and reliable

Car and licence is an advantage but not essential provided you can travel to work independently.

Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing engineering as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.

The successful candidate will undergo Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade.
