Bricklaying Apprentice
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Bricklaying Apprentice to join our client’s team based in Labrador. This is a fantastic chance to begin a trade career in the construction industry, working alongside experienced bricklayers on a range of residential and commercial projects across the Gold Coast region.
As an apprentice, you will learn hands‑on skills on site while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified bricklayers with daily duties
- Prepare materials, mix mortar, and handle tools safely
- Learn to lay bricks and blocks to set standards
- Help build walls, structures, and foundations
- Maintain a tidy, safe work environment
- Attend all required training and complete apprenticeship tasks on schedule
About You
We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in building a long‑term career in the bricklaying trade. You should enjoy practical, outdoor work and be able to follow instructions well as you develop your skills.
Requirements
- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable transport to and from worksites
- Construction White Card
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
